Together with the women in my bible study group, I chose this book based on the title. We were looking for a book that focused on women; specifically, on women's relationships with their spouses, their children, and with other women. We have been pleased with the book overall, although one or two of the chapters were somewhat difficult to work through. Our group will very likely choose another text from the Focus on the Family series again.

Women of Worth and Balanced Living are both superb studies for Chrisitan women accountability groups. Women of Worth's focus is on affirming the intrinsic value of women and our unique worth in the eyes of the Father. Balanced Living fleshes out how Chrisitan women can find fulfillment and joy in all areas of life. It's all about perspective. When one's spiritual gaze is directed vertically toward God, then balance can be achieved in one's horizontal relationships and responsibilities. Thus, we are freed from the tyranny of the urgent and able to live life passionately. Women of Worth and Balanced Living are wonderful companion studies. The questions generate excellent discussion and focus on relational aspects, thereby paving the way for honest, transparent conversation. I highly recommend both studies.

love this book ! our group from church has been using this book - has initiated some great conversations and opened up our eyes to some personal traits we may not have been fully aware of.....
