The gel sole does wonder for my bad back. Only reason for one star deduction is the sizing is small - both width & length. Learned from my previous pair of Asics, so ordered accordingly.

I did not buy this pair of shoes here, I got them elsewhere BUT I love them and I don't intend to buy another type of walking shoe ever! Awesome comfort. My feet/ankles swell during the day but I did not have any problems wearing these all day. No adjustments needed! Happy happy :)

Got these for my wife a few months ago and shes pretty much ran the soles right off of them! She loves Asics and wouldn't have anything else. She's happy, I'm happy - what else is there to say?!
