The Women's Bean Project employs women who come from backgrounds of chronic unemployment and poverty, and helps them develop the work and interpersonal skills needed to function independently in the workplace and community. These tools empower women to create better lives for themselves, provide their families with hope, and contribute to a stronger community.

I have been purchasing items from the "Bean Project" since 1998. Every product has been delicious, fresh and easy to prepare. The "Bean Project" is an excellent helping hand for women who are turning their lives around and working to excel! If you try nothing else, try their chili mixes and their very tasty black bean soup!
