My wife saw a wallet she wanted on Amazon (Gem Avenue). The things she liked most about the wallet was the two separate zipped sides. One for cash and change, the other for credit cards, drivers license, etc. After receiving the wallet, she was even more excited because the superior workmanship meant she will have the wallet a long time. I must add this important note. Soon after I ordered the wallet, I was called by Gem Avenue, that the color wallet I ordered was back ordered, but they could send me another color. I accepted and the wallet arrived within a couple of days but the color was nothing like I expected. I called Gem Avenue's toll free number and they said to return the wallet and they would send the original order since they now had some in stock. Within one week, my wife had the wallet she originally wanted and I got a refund for the return shipping. Gem Avenue you're First Class.

The quality of this item supprised me for the price that was charged. I was very happy with the product and will continue to shop with this company.

The wallet I purchased was exactly what I was looking for in a wallet..It's roomy,lovely brown leather and overall really nice. Very inexpensive ..Excellent merchandise and shipement was very quick.

This wallet is okay but the credit card slots are too small. I tore one of the slots trying to get a card in the wallet. What's the problem with making these slots bigger? It doesn't cost, but it makes the wallet unusable for most puposes of keeping cc in the slots. Would not purchase again.

Being an older retired nurse, I am very fussy and practical. I want something that looks sturdy, I know will hold up, and doesn't have 400 pockets in it because I don't have 400 things to put anywhere. This wallet looks like something you want to put ice cream on, and eat. It looks thick and chewy, but it's soft and surprisingly it fits well in your hand, in fact it's all you really need. I never carried a purse until 3 years ago and I'm 67, and this wallet has room for everything that matters if you say, get pulled over by the cops, get in an accident and have to show someone your medication list and your next of kin or just want to make a purchase. And there's plenty of room for cash, I even took one part out of it because I knew I would never need more places for cards of any type. It is efficient and all you have to learn is which zipper goes to which side and you are good to go. I don't know where this actually was made, but the zipper quality and the clasps on the bottom of them are hardy. In fact, if you fill this up with cards and money and whatever else, you might be able to knock someone out with it if they tried to take it away from you, that's how attached you will get to it. Stop whatever you are doing right now and buy it. That's an order and I'm very used to giving orders. Buy the burgundy.

By description, this item was exactly what I was looking for. It has two zippers on the out side. One side contains a built-in check book cover and credit card slots. The other side contains an inside zipper slot for coins with two spots on either side to place either cash or receipts. These two spots are not long enough to hold U.S. currency. Bummer! I sent the wallet back.

I purchased one of these for myself and one for my mother. This wallet is very nice. Appears well made and is set up efficiently, not too many pockets, not too few. So easy to organize my things and move from purse to purse. The leather is soft and supple. Only problem is that it is hard to get my license out of the see through card area but it is really no big deal to me. A product well worth the money. I will be buying more for gifts.

I love the room this wallet offers. I wouldn't recommend this wallet for the smaller handbags. However, it is perfect for medium and large size handbags.

I needed to replace a very good leather wallet I've had for years, that can accomodate bills, change, credit cards, pictures, checks, and the register. This wallet is able to hold all of these items. Right now the fit is REAL tight, especially for the credit cards, however I expect it will loosen up after time with use.

I bought this wallet as a replacement for one which was stolen. I was pleasantly surprised by how hefty it felt in my hand (the leather makes it grip-able), yet it's slender enough to slid into my messenger bag without a fuss. This wallet has several different pockets, which an organizational freak like me can appreciate.

There are two zippered compartments: #1 is for identification/credit/rewards cards and your checkbook, and #2 is for cash, coins, and receipts. Both compartments have plenty of dividers to give you a spot for everything.

THE BAD: The coin pouch closes via a zipper which seems to be faulty. The segments of the zipper do not come together when it is closed. This is minor for me because I don't carry much change, and for those of you who do, the cash compartment which houses the coin pouch is zippered, which will protect any wayward coins from traveling too far. (Also, I suspect that the faulty zipper is not a characteristic of EVERY wallet from Gem Ave. I received a faulty one probably by luck of the draw)

I have difficulty remembering which compartment is cash and which is credit cards. I hope this wears off as I acclimate to my new wallet, but as of now, every time I try to reach for cash or credit, my hands become a frenzy of zipping and unzipping the two compartments. Sooner or later I aim to tie a green string onto the zipper for the cash compartment in order to differentiate.

There is also a pocket on the outside. Not sure how safe it is to keep something here for extended periods of time, because anything placed in this outside pocket seems likely to fall out (there is no zipper or button). This is not necessarily a "bad" pocket, I just cannot fathom its functionality.

In conclusion, this is a great wallet if you need lots of dividers. Be wary of the coin pouch and of mistakenly unzipping the wrong compartment.
