It's a superb guide to the best sites dealing with careers, news, health, family, fashion, relationships, entertainment, and more--reviewed from a woman's perspective. Mini-features guide you to favorite Web activities and special pleasures. Sites with international or kid appeal are highlighted, as are the Women's Wire staff's top favorites. It's aimed at women but, guys, don't overlook this book--it's too good! It includes a CD-ROM featuring a hyperlinked copy of the book plus Web software.

Someone once said that point of view is worth 80 IQ points. If that is true, then these directories will make some folks a lot smarter. A full complement of focused directories such as these two and the myriad titles found in NetGuide's ongoing series are actually much more useful than a single broad Internet guide. Keep your eyes peeled for future volumes serving other constiuencies.
