Suit arrived. Well long after they bang your card. Nice suit. Fit was good. But one thing... This is NOT a cold water dive wetsuit. So then the fun began. Calling this vendor is futile. Right to an answering machine saying they are busy helping other customers. Yeahhh right. 4 calls and answering machine each time? Sure. Ok then having to track'em down for a return address. They finally respond to an e-mail. They get the wetsuit back. No response, credit..zilch. Time to bring in the big dogs (Amazon). Claim filed. Credit given. Done. So to sum it up, learn from my mistake and don't buy from this vendor unless you know you won't have to play return and seek with them.

My doctor recommended water therapy for me. I have a pool, but living here in Maryland, the season is limited. This wetsuit lets me get in the water sooner and stay in later, season wise. Received the product quickly. Plus, it looks pretty cool.

Great suit, one of the best we have ever owned, plus the service from here made it alot better. I ordered the wrong size and they exchanged it right away and had the new one in less than a week. Thank you. You won a coustomer.

This wetsuit DOES extend the lake swimming season. It keeps most body parts plenty warm in 55 degree water, and does OK for awhile at 45 degrees. The H2Odyssey is one of only two brands of wetsuits I have ever tried. It definitely lets in less water and keeps me warmer than the Overton 3/2 mm suit. When I had to exchange for a different size, the transaction went smoothly and quickly. The price is good.

But swimming in the wetsuit sure does not flow like it does without a wetsuit. The knee pads on this suit are made of particularly stiff material. And I suspect that it is impossible for any manufacturer to make a suit that fits every body shape. The wetsuit highlights how your body shape deviates from the American Norm: my big hips and legs pack in tightly and move stiffly, but they stay pretty warm. I roll the legs on inside out. The curve in the small of my back allows the zipper flap to open and let in water. I have had some success with packing towels and other packing against my back and around the neck opening to help reduce the inflow of cold water. I have also found that 5mm gloves and socks are required in colder water. Besides protecting the extremities, they help seal off the ankle and wrist openings. I do appreciate being able to get out in the lake for a couple of more months this year - thank you H2Odyssey.
