I thought this book provided the right dose of information--I understand the key topics better (breast cancer, osteoporosis and heart disease)--and consequently can ask my doctor appropriate questions about my health and her treatment recommendations.

I liked the fact I could read this book cover-to-cover in about 1 hour. It's not complicated ... I didn't have to dig for answers to my questions... and it's written for those of us who don't have a medical background. Overall, very informative and easy to read.

I was very disappointed with this book. It only touches a very few subjects i.e. breast cancer, osteoporosis, heart disease. It is very simplistic and in my opinion does not discuss the vast array of minor and major problems women over 40 can experience. I was expecting much more.
