These are great sandals to use for dance. They work well for belly dance and help to protect the feet on different surfaces. They also fit into the costuming of most folk or tribal belly dancers.

These turned out to be pretty good! I was really nervous about ordering dance shoes over the web, but this was the cheapest price I could find anywhere, and I decided to chance it--worked out great, though! They're decently comfortable to dance in (or, will be, after I break them in), and seem like pretty good quality. And, as I said, I couldn't find a lower price in the stores!

I really like these sandals because I know they will last a long time because they are exactly like the first pair I bought several years ago. They are not designed to be worn outside in the elements, but mine lasted forever even though I wore them to some outside festivals/ren. fares, etc...The only thing is that the strings can bite into my skin sometimes and be a bit uncomfortable during class. You also have to make sure to tie them good enough so that they don't come untied. However, keep in mind that this is a traditional type of dance shoe made with delicate,leather strings, so it just comes with the territory. Definitely a good pair of Hermes sandals though!

Terrible, terrible quality! The leather? straps are very hard and stiff. I wore them around the house to brake the sandals in before a dancing class and had to take them off for fear that I was going to end up with blisters. Unfortunately I waited to long to return them.
