This review is from: The Women's Liberation Movement in Russia (Paperback)
This book is well-written, magnificently researched, and stands at the top of the very few books written about Imperial Russian women. The scope makes it practical and the detail makes it perfect for research. The only other book that compares with this is Anna Hilyar and Jane McDermid's "Revolutionary Women in Russia, 1870-1917: A Collective Biography."
