I got my Sarong in two days, and only opted for the regular shipping. I chose the "surprise me" option and received a large dark green sarong with dark gold edging and fraying, and little gekkos or lizards in gold throughout the sarong. It ends up looking really nice and perfect for my upcoming vacation in Jamaica. Its large enough that anyone can make it either a dress, a skirt, a shirt or a shawl.

I only have one beef, and that is I thought this would be a few sarongs included, not one. 'grab bag' to me implies more than one, especially since there were no returns. But, I soon discovered that the quality of the sarong was worth the $9 plus $6 shipping, considering I would have to drive 30 minutes at least to go to a store and find any sarong, and that's if I'm lucky. So, just know that you are getting one sarong in this 'grab bag' but that it is a great, good quality cloth you're getting.

I love a great deal, a great price, and a fun surprise, so I am most satisfied with my "grab bag" purchase from 1WorldSarongs. In fact, I probably could NOT have selected one better myself for my personal taste! LOL So, their methods of choosing for you apparently works well--based on what other reviewers say. [It was due to these great reviews that I decided to try this surprise me option.] The sarong I received was a rich, black color with beautiful leafy vine type designs on in--rendered in shades of green. Borders in the same greens were on the fringed ends of the cloth. The quality of the sarong was much better than I expected for the price, and it even smelled exotically nice as I extracted it from the packaging. :) So, you could say that it was a completely pleasant surprise.

As far as material goes, the little care tag on the sarong said: "100% Rayon; Hand Wash Separately Cold Water; Line Dry." The 1WorldSarong website contains more detailed information on sarongs--how best to wash them / methods; how they come to be, how to use / wear them in various styles, and other important product data for those who wish to explore further. So, I am most impressed with this Amazon seller and their amazing products. I will totally trade with them again.

More Sarong Ideas from the Newly Initiated: I've only recently become aware of sarongs---magical cloths that can essentially be whatever you want or need them to be--with creative thinking, folding, and / or tying: skirts, blouses, scarfs, shawls, bathing suit covers, beach wear, beach mat, table clothes, wall art, curious home decorations, curtains, shower curtains, costumes, turbans, large gift wrap, quick towels, summer blankets / throws, kid's blanket, bedthrrow, make-shift sheets, pillow covers, tote bag, temporary sun shade, laundry bag, cape, college dorm art, travel wrap for items / souvenirs, camping / hiking-privacy screen, even as a more accepted form of temple garb in certain locations where shorts / short pants are frowned on--great then for men and women alike, drum circle wear, padding for your backpack straps, perhaps even minor first aid emergency where a sturdy, but flexible cloth would be useful.

The uses are limited to the imagination, and every traveler should consider having one of these easy-to-pack, ready-to-go cloths in their travel kits. Keep one in the trunk of your car! Send one with your college kid going off to school. Give to a friend as an unusual gift; be sure to highlight the many uses. A sarong really gives one endless possibilities for comfort and style. So glad I left this one for them to choose and in a way it was exactly what I wanted. This is a great company and everyone should check them out!!!!

the quality is nice and the size is perfect. but i ordered 5 from the black and white collection, and i got 5 similar prints just in different colors! i was expecting more variety!

Each sarong I have ordered is unique and beautiful and adds flair to a conservative wardrobe.

I chose the "Surprise Me" option and am not disappointed. It's a lovely brown with darker, almost chocolate brown at the edges. Sea creatures in the chocolate brown color throughout. I would opt for the surprise me option again without hesitation.

Although the sarong was very pretty ...and yes I took advantage of the lower price by using their "grab bag" the color was not one I would have choosen and unfortunately it would not work for me as a cover up, since I am a plus size (3x) person. However I am finding a use for it decorating my bedroom and adding much needed pop of color.

Really liked the sarong that was sent. The only thing missing are instructions on the different ways to possibly wear it.

The sarongs arrived in Ontario in 6 days and they are a very nice assortment of colours. The quality is good and they feel lovely and silky.

However, the cross border fees and delivery doubled the price. I still think they are lovely but they cost me $17 each in the end.

I sent for a grab bag sarong and was not disappointed. Since I had no choice in the design but did have a choice in color range, I took a chance. I got a bright yellow sarong which, while I would never have chosen this for myself, I actually like.
