It's okay...., October 29, 2011
I got this as a gift for Halloween but really wanted the Gothic Lolita costume.
This is "cute" but make sure that you get the right size: If you are a size 4-5 get a small not a medium (it runs long; belt doesn't fit)/ The fan does not stay up like in the picture- it's more of a rubbery texture and where the sticks end there's like 5" of material that just lays flat and floppy. The wig comes with the dress and it's shiny and choppy with the red streaks resembling Christmas tinsel. I'd suggest getting a black 12' wig instead @ your local beauty supply store/costume store. Or just twirl your own hair in a bun and use chopsticks.;)
Personally, I would just wear the dress for a special occasion as it's really not my style (for Halloween). But if you like it, wear boots or just any black/red heels and you can get a cheap little purse to substitute for the fan (:
