Now that it has been altered it looks like every other sweater dress with the awful uncomfortable tight fitting band around the bottom.

Heidi has some explaining to do - they ruined Andy's designs.

I was soooooooo looking forward to getting this dress and being able to post a positive review, but am disappointed to have to say the dress is incredibly underwhelming! Things you may not be able to tell from the photos:
1. The white charmeuse is see through so you MUST wear something underneath the dress.
2. The material is very thin and would get stretched out and shapeless very quickly.
3. The banded bottom is VERY tight. Knees smashed together tight.
Over all, what started out as a very cute, classy dress on PR has become a flimsy, ill-proportioned one hardly worth the asking price. I hate to have to say that I received the dress 20 minutes ago and have already started the return process. So sad, maybe someone can "make it work", but it isn't me. :(
This is definitely not designer error, but rather poor production.

On Project Runway, Andy designed this chic dress that I would have bought for my daughters. On - line they altered the dress in a horrible fashion, adding a band around the bottom, which is never flattering, even on super skinny teens or models. And especially since the Project Runway judges always complain about styling, what is with the skinny turquoise belt in the worst possible place, a baby pink purse and a grey racer-back tank underneath. From tres chic, to Yuk. I like Andy's design and styling so much better. Go Andy!

I loved the dress that was shown on the show project runway. I went to this site to see if i could purchase it, but they completely changed it and I hate it. Why would you change such a fun cute dress to this mess????

I loved this dress on project runway and I thought Andy's design added some much needed flavor to Heidi's slouchy, sloppy, colorless and just plain ugly clothes. I can't believe that someone as fashionable as she is designs such bad clothes. Anyway, the dress that is sold on Amazon is NOT the same as Andy's dress and the band around the bottom is hideous and makes it look like a maternity shirt. Too bad. I really liked the original design.

I wanted to give this zero stars but it wouldn't let me...I think all of us loyal Project Runways deserve an explanation as to why they would ruin Andy's designs with completely inferior products - did they think we would be fooled? This looks nothing like the awesome designs that Andy created. I was prepared to buy this dress until I saw the re-creation - what a joke - and the hoodie Andy created was adorable as well and they destroyed that too! Heidi has some explaining to do - they ruined Andy's designs.

I agree with others. The dress and model styling looks like skeleton pajamas I have for my kids. LOVED the one Andy designed on the show.

Are you kidding me with this??! I just saw this outfit on Project Runway while watching a "Project Runway marathon". I was so in love w/ Andy's dress when I saw it on the show that I told myself I HAD to check out Heidi Klum's line AND Andy's dress to see if I could buy it. Before this episode, I didn't even know she had a line for new balance. After seeing this dress (and the other Project Runway winning outfits by Andy), I can see why I didn't know. Her line is so frumpy and ugly and the prices are SO STEEP! Looks to me like it's a wannabe Stella McCartney line for Adidas but at dollar store quality and style. Poor Andy. I really feel bad for him now. He was probably so excited to have his clothes made for Heidi's line. Now... it's just a major flop. Way to make something that was so beautiful so ugly Heidi designers! I haven't even bought this piece, but the pictures say it all - DO NOT BUY!

I loved this dress, or should I say Andy's dress on Project Runway. I was so excited to be able to purchase it here. However, this dress is not the same dress. If it ain't broke - don't fix it!!
