5.0 out of 5 stars Only shoes I want to wear!!!
If you have ANY doubts about what shoe to buy for walking and/or running, please don't hesitate to buy this shoe! I was walking/running on the treadmill in a pair of New Balance and my feet and back were killing me. I tried these shoes and I promise you my feet don't hurt and my back is 99% better. I don't want to wear dress shoes to work anymore! I put these on as...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the same shoe as a few years ago.
The shoe fit is the same, but they've skimped on the reflector strips on the shoe. The price is higher, but the quality of the shoe is not what it used to be. Every runner knows the importance of visibility. If Saucony wants to make a great running shoe, they'll need to put the reflective strips back on the shoe for our safety.

I put these on as soon as I get home in the afternoon and everywhere on the weekend. I LOVE THESE SHOES! I want another pair just in case something happens to mine or they discontinue them. By the way... I was told at the shoe store where I bought them to buy a bigger size. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and I bought an 8. They told me and I've also read that as a runner you need at least 1/2 size bigger than what you normally wear. I also bought superfeet insoles to go in mine to help with my plantar fasciitis. I wouldn't be without the insoles. Wonderful product as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Running Shoe, December 24, 2009

This is my third pair of the Saucony Progrid Triumph 6. I usually wear a size 8.5, but opted for the 9 in this case. Prior running shoe was Asics Gel Nimbus 9 and I love the Saucony more. Switched to Saucony after the Gel Nimbus 10 came out with a very narrow toe box. Very comfortable, flexible feel, plenty of toe box room. Very light. Decent stability in the heel of the shoe but not too much. I have medium arches and these work great for me. Would definitely recommend. Only reservation, one pair had a tongue that was too stiff and dug into my ankle. Solved this by trimming the edge of the tongue and was no longer a problem. Decent life span for a softer shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars great shoe, June 23, 2009

This sneaker is one of the best I have ever owned and I buy approximately 4 pair per year. I am a walker, not a runner, but these shoes give me great support at a very light weight and I use them for walking and also everyday wear at work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saucony Triumph series great as a lightweight training shoe for a narrow, neutral foot, February 11, 2010
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is my second go at the Saucony Triumph 6 and I love it for a lightweight training shoe. It's perfect for those with neutral arches and a narrow foot, with it's semi-curved footbed and little posting (i.e. it allows your foot to flex out with each step, providing very little motion control.)

The outsole is grippy enough to withstand Vancouver's slippery side walks, with which I was initially concerned, so it's an ideal shoe regardless from which part of the country you hail.

5.0 out of 5 stars Walking on Air, August 10, 2009
By
I love these shoes. I am a huge Saucony fan. Triumph 6 is even better than the Trigon 5. I have had surgery on both feet (for plantar fasciitis) and have had some complications ever since. I wear the Triumph 6's everywhere now. They are the most comfortable shoes!!! Lots of cushioning in the ball of foot area and lots of room in the toe box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best cushioning!!!, August 31, 2011
I have searched continuously for a shoe that would take the impact of my high intensity training and finally I have found it. This shoe not only stands up to running, but has GREAT support when jumping rope or doing workouts that require jumping - it's safe and impact absorbing landing is second to no other shoe that I have tried. I would strongly recommend you try these. Because of all the cushioning support, you might have to go a half-size up, but please try it - it is SO WORTH it!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars feet hurt after wear, August 11, 2011
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've worn New Balance running shoes forever but the last pair I purchased didn't hold up like the ones in the past so I decided maybe it was time to explore other brands. I did some research and read good things about the Saucony Progrid Triumph 6. I found them on Amazon for a good price and decided to order. I order my normal size, 5.5, and the shoes fit well, I wore them around the house on a Sun and all seemed okay, I worked out in them on Mon and my right foot hurt so much so I had to stop my workout early. Tried again Tues, same thing. I have an under-pronation so maybe this were just not the shoes for me. I did return them and went back to NB, maybe it's just better to stick with shoes I know will work.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible disappointment, shoddy workmanship, July 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This shoe came highly recommended, but within 6 months a hole had worn completely through one toe. My use of the shoe consists of a half hour walk with my dog M-F and longer walks on the weekends, hardly rough use. The rest of both shoes, including the toe of the left one, is hardly worn at all.

Very disappointing performance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing., April 24, 2010

This shoe has provided the stability, comfort and support that my teenage daughter needs during track season and for physical therapy. She has spastic calves, tight Achilles, pes planus and suffers shin splints after undergoing lower spine surgery. The toe box was a little tight but stretched enough to accommodate without feeling snug. Worth every penny.
