I was looking for a costume that was cute enough for me to wear out to a couple of parties but not so slutty that i wouldn't wear it to work.
Well, it was very cute and defiantly not too slutty but i couldn't wear it too work. this costume is made of the same cheep material that all costumes are made of, and is somewhat sheer (being white and all). I am 5 feet tall and about a size 4; the slits in the skirt are a good length, but if you are quite tall it could be a problem. Also I purchased a size XS which i worried might be too small but it was great, very skin tight so be sure you have sheer undergarments, and if you choose to wear nylons use body tape to keep them from rolling, since that will be visible through the dress.

The costume in the picture looks like it is made of a thick shiny material and has one slit. The costume actually is a thin matt white knit with two slits. It is a little pricey for the quality of the material. The extra small is supposed to be a 2-4, but it is more like a 0-2. However, the belt must be one-size-fits-all because it was big and I had to add extra velcro so it wouldn't flop around. In spite of all that, it was fine for the occasion, although it was a little tighter and shorter than I would have liked. If you are undecided about the size go for the larger one. I would recommend getting boots (not included in this set), because they really made the costume. Overall, a fun costume to wear.

I loved this costume! I will perhaps wear it again next year because of all of the attention I recieived in it. The white gown fit like a glove--not very forgiving though--just a warning. Although I had some wardrobe malfunctions due to the fact that you could see my underwear straight through the dress. If you buy this costume, you will have to buy a flesh colored thong (sorry ladies, I know--I hate them too). Also, unless you have a tiny pea-head, the wig will not fit you. I swear that they gave me a child wig. No worries though, I have longish hair, so I did my own Leia buns.

this costume didnt look like that on me, it didnt look that sexy but that's the look i was going for. I purchased it a little big so i was able to wear around kids. It was fun and cute, i received a lot of compliments when i wore it. The belt even hid my baby pouch!! Gotta love that!

The costume in the picture is not the one that is sent. If you go back to the main page that has all of the other costumes and see the one with the two slits, that is the one that you will receive. But if you don't mind that, then it's a good costume. It is see through, so having a white cami and white undershorts to wear with it would be good as well.

For those of us who are old-school Star Wars fans, this is a wonderful costume for the ladies. I wore it with white leggings and white snow boots (those are the only white boots I have.) I got many compliments from the parent-generation. The kids? Not so much. They had no idea who I was. They are into the new-school Star Wars: Clone Wars. Many of those kids were even dressed in Star Wars costumes!! But they had no idea who I was.

The costume comes with dress, belt, wig. It does not come with the gogo boots or the blaster.

I got so many compliments! The belt is a rubbery material and sticks on with velcro. It stayed on just fine; it really completed the look & made it look suddenly like Princess Leia! The wig had a horrible part on it, I think it's synthetic hair (which is fine with me personally) and it really didn't look good at all. But it was good enough for me at the price point. I didn't want to spend more. This costume will be the costume of choice for me for probably the next 10 years of my life! It was pretty flattering too. I'm a very curvy woman with a bit of a belly from having given birth and not doing Heidi Klum-worthy situps to get rid of it. But it was still flattering. I wear a small/medium in real dresses these days; I ordered a Medium in this costume only because I wanted to make sure it would be flattering & fit my larger curves.

My husband LOVEs the costume. He felt like he should dress like Han Solo! Maybe next year!

I also like that it's white - so when Trick-Or-Treating in the dark - it's very visible for the plethora of driving cars going by. A wise choice for a momma escorting her Trick-or-Treaters.

I liked this costume, you definitely have to have the boots to pull it all together. I got alot of compliments at the party we went to. Follow the size chart, I was worried because some people said it ran small, others said it ran big. I'm 5'4 and around a size 8. I got the medium, and it fit well. I did have to get nude undergarments because it was some what see through, and I did my own hair up in braids rather than wear the wig. Because the wig looked awful!!!

This costume fits great. I normally am a size 2-3 but it was best to get the size bigger. The material is see through, so I plan on wearing white under armor underneath. The belt is a little cheesy, but the wig is legit.

The garment pictured is not the one that is actually being sold. The garment pictured looks to be of decent quality with one leg slit, whereas the actual item sold is made of cheap costume fabric with two slits.

My one year-old son is going as Yoda for Halloween and I was looking for something compatible with his adorable outfit. This will work. I bought it in size medium (I am 5'7 about 125 lbs) so that I can wear a long-sleeve shirt and white pants underneath for trick-or-treating outside, and I am definitely not looking for something "sexy." The dress fits right over my shirt and pants, no problem, and still looks nice. There is one slit in mine, not two, and the wig barely works but will be passable. However, this is because my hair color is dark brown. If you have lighter-colored hair, I can't imagine the wig working. It's just too small - not large enough from front to back. As a result, my hair peeps out in front about 2 inches. The buns kind of sit on the top "corners" of my head, not next to the ears as pictured.

The dress material is matte, not shiny, and the rubbery belt is cream-colored with several silver-colored "buckles" that velcroes in the back. The belt is a bit big but it should be just fine. One other note - the dress really smells plasticky coming out of the package, and the care instructions say to hand-wash cold. I am glad to have some time before Halloween to hang it up to air out. I did wash my son's costume using the hand-wash setting on the washing machine and it turned out well, but I don't think I need to do that for mine.

If I were wearing this to a party, the small size would be right for me, but medium is great for layering.
