This book gives voice to and celebrates women in the field of experiential education, specifically, and education in general. It's a great resource not just for women in education, but for anyone who is interested in the fields of EE, outdoor education, adventure education, environmental ed and more. The book's editor, Karen Warren, has been a leader in the field of Experiential Eduation for more than 20 years. Her fields of study and expertise include outdoor leadership, diversity, EE methodology, and social and environmental justice. Warren, a former Association for Experiential Education Board Member, carefully selected contributors who are experts in the field to pen chapters for this book.
Any women's studies, outdoor ed or environmental ed program or student would do well to reference this book.
