I've shoveled snow in them and they did a great job keeping my hands warm and dry.

The inner liner part was shorter than the finger of the gloves.

These gloves are comfortable and functional. They are extremely warm, thick, and soft, and work very well as snow gloves.

The only flaw is the short fingers. I have somewhat short fingers for my height, and these gloves are almost too small for me length wise. If you have long, or above medium fingers, I would not suggest these gloves.

In all other areas, these gloves rock!

They keep my hands very warm -- even when I was visiting family in Buffalo. But for me the fingers were too long (and mine exactly fit the proportions for "normal" supposedly). And the fingers are not as flexible as I'd like. If you're going tubing, sledding, etc., these would be a great choice. If you're doing something where you need some manual dexterity -- such as unlocking your front door... expect to have to take them off to function.

I bought these for a tubing trip with friends. They kept my hands warm and dry the entire 3 hours out (which is saying a lot because my hands get cold quite easily). They're a bit bulky, so I wouldn't use them to work on a car or anything. The price was right, and they're probably the best outdoor adventure gloves I've purchased.

These are beautifully made, warm and WATERPROOFED ( I held them under a faucet to check because I've never been able to find good water proof gloves). And they are nice!

Great Purchase! After reading some of the reviews I was very worried about the fit of these gloves but I received them today, tried them on and they fit perfectly! I have normal size hands& fingers. I ordered a large (because of the reviews) but I'm glad I did because they seem a perfect fit. My hands got warm (I'd say even HOT) within 1 minute of me having them on which I take as a huge plus since I bought these for my teenaged daughter to use snowboarding this season. At this price, these gloves were a GREAT purchase. I like the pull tab closure, color is nice and I love that they are waterproof with thinsulate. Gloves like these usually cost 3x more so I am very happy and if she loses them...at this price, it's no big deal. I think i'm going to purchase a back-up pair. Very happy!

I was under the impression from the other reviews that these gloves would work in the snow. I took them with me on a snowboarding trip, and my fingers were soaked after 20 minutes. Keep in mind, this is only from picking up the snowboard, brushing snow off the bindings, and tightening the bindings. I can also say that the quality of the gloves is pretty bad too. When I put on the gloves for the first time, I could see the seams of the material stretch and expose the thread from underneath. It definitely looks like these gloves won't survive more than a couple uses. I contacted customer service and explained how unhappy I was about the gloves not being waterproof and I'm sending them back. I don't know why there are so many reviews that say that they are waterproof....

Don't waste your money of these!

For the price, I thought these gloves are great! I played in the snow for two hours and was warm and dry.
