I bought these shoes for swing dancing and I couldn't be happier with them. They were affordable, and SO comfortable. I will definitely buy another pair in the future.

oh, and to the other reviewer... they're dance shoes. They're not supposed to have traction. That's kinda of the point.

I got these last week and have broken them in, and I love them! I didn't know if they would be comfortable wearing them for hours, but they are. They are my first pair of Character dance shoes and they really are comfortable! They have a soft, cushioning padding inside and they're not too slick, but you can make them even less slick by sanding them or walking on concrete. Make sure you order a half to a full size bigger, I normally wear a 10 but I ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfectly; if you have a wider foot you may want to order a full size bigger. :.)

These are the most comfortable character shoes I've ever owned! They are like putting your foot inside a pillow. The only down side is that the soles could be a little stronger. I slipped on some stairs and broke the heal off of my first pair. (That was a sad day.) But they are great for stage and dancing, just make sure to scuff up the soles before you do anything in them!

i've never owned a pair of character shoes before so i can't compare them to anything. but for my first pair, i imagine they're just right. they're comfortable. they look nice

what everyone is saying is true: order a half a size larger than your street size shoe. that's what i did and they fit just great.

also, like everyone is saying, they are slick! so be careful! i was slipping and sliding everywhere when i first put them on but it seems they have roughened up nicely

great pair of shoes

This is my first pair of dance shoes and my first pair of 2" heels in fact, as I'm typically in flats. They turned out to be very comfortable and fitted. The soles are padded and very cushy, and despite the 2" heels,there's good arch support. The upper is very soft and does not pinch at the toes. In terms of sizing,I'm typically a 7 to 7 1/2 but I ordered a 8 after reading other reviews and the shoes turned out to be just a little bit loose. I think the width is a true medium,unless your feet are especially wide, going 1/2 size up will probably be sufficient.

Overall, I love it as a beginner's dance shoe,very comfortable and sturdy, modest-looking but classy.

i do alot of dancing and i recently injurd my ankle - i purchased this shoe and it is not only comfortable you feel as if you had nothing on its great on any dance floor you can dance all night and your feet will love you for choosing this shoe - i highly recommend this shoe to anyone who loves to dance - trust me your feet will appreciate you for them

When you pay so little and receive so much, that's love. These shoes are so amazing. they're so comfortable, I want to wear them to bed. I normally wear 6 1/2 or 7 and I ordered a size 7 fits perfectly.

I had been searching for black and beige dance shoes, as well as blue suede shoes. These dance shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've had the pleasure of purchasing. I was able to wear them day-to-evening; and, then dance the evening away.

They are very comfortable dance shoes. The size chart is correct. Generally, the dance shoes tend to be smaller than usual sizes. These shoes match the size chart. Their size is similar to regular shoes. I emphasize the size issue as it is the biggest handicap for online shoe shopping. You cannot do wrong with these shoes. They are very good and comfortable. Enjoy the dance.
