Pacewon "Won" gets 4 stars, for why read on...,

Pacewon's debut album consists of 21 tracks, plus a second bonus disc that containing 5 videos. 4 are music videos and 1 is around 8 or 9 minutes on the group tha Outsidaz. First off, that was what make the decision between buying or not buying this cd. It's great to see rap artists finally using the technology of enhanced cds. The second reason was Pacewon's verse on Redman's album "Malpractice", although it doesn't say he is on the track. So anyway, I bought the album and was pleasently suprised with it. Most of the beats are dope, some are wierd but work, and Pacewon's lyrics are dope as well. His voice is sort of monotone, but it does not get annoying. Some of the guests consist of Kurupt, fellow Outsida Young Zee (with a hilarious verse on the song "I'm Leaving"), Rah Digga, and a few others. This cd is definitly worth checking out, and think about this. ... Pick up this cd as soon as possible. Pacewon wins with his debut album.

New Jersey Does It Again,

Pacewon steps up front with extensive solo effort. More for your money is more suitable. In the tradition of previous Outsidaz releases (i.e. The Bricks and Nightlife EP), Pacewon accents, emphasize, and execute wordplay lovely. His imagination is worthy of classic noteriety boasting lines such as "I don't be battling average men, I rip your establishment". The beats remain fresh and complimentary to his lyrics. Features guest appearances from Wyclef Jean, Korupt, Rah Digga, Young Zee, and of corse the Outsidaz. Also contains the hit video "I Declare War" on second disc. Pacewon is definetly worthy of investment.

Pacewon's best record and one of the best from the Bricks!!! I copped it when it came out and just re-discovered how great of listen it was. The production may not please everyone, but to my ears it sounded raw and that worked well. His lyrical-punches are strong and funny...its just a great record to own so go out and cop it when you can. Peace!

I got this just recently. I've been somewhat of fan of the Ousidaz since they did that track with the Fugees but didn't know about the releases they had until just lately. The sound of this album is more mid to late 90's sounding...which was a great surprise..because I do think the best hip hop came from the 90's..and this definitely does give a nod to those a old days.
The only bad thing I can say about this album is..(and some will think I'm crazy) ..tha I think it's too long. There are 20 somthing tracks. All solid mind, you, but after a while it seems like it's going on forever. I think it could have been shortened to 14 tracks of the purest of the pure..but hey no real complaints. This guy is mad talented. After listening to this closely I startred to wonder if he maybe gave his pal Eminem a few pointers. But at any rate. if you're considering purchasing this...don't hesitate...Just do it.

I am a fan of the outsiders. But think they can do soooooooo much better, than thier 'The Bricks' effort. Anyway.........However, Paceone suprises me with this solo effort. Fav tracks are: 'Sunroof Top' - nice intro The other tracks are preety average.
