what did i expect for an item under $150? i guess after reading the other reviews, i was thinking maybe the video quality was going to be decent for the price. but this is not the case. the video is choppy, grainy, has unexpected flashes of color variation, and won't play properly with my windows media player versions 9 or 11. the sound is out of sync with the video, which will only play in slow motion. the flip out lcd screen is shoddy and a little crooked, so it's often hard to tell if you are getting a level shot. the webcam function is dark and grainy and barely passable. the power and picture and video buttons and levers are awkwardly placed, so that the camera shakes quite a bit when pausing or stopping what you are filming. other than that--it makes a nice paperweight. if you are buying a toy for your budding young photographer, i guess this would make a nice gift, but if you want an actual functioning, useable camera that produces videos with some semblance of quality, this is not your purchase. the old adage still proves to be true: you get what you pay for.

I love this camera! Very easy and quick to use. No manipulation to switch from photo to video mode. Switches on very quickly. Batteries last for ages (well almost) And the videos are astounding ! Very good sound quality too.
Mp3 player is ok. Just does the work.
drawback : cannot listen to mp3s and take pics / videos at the same time (well I figured it'd look cool...)

This is a great camera for its price. It's very easy to use and fits well into the hand.

I would marry it if I could. It is very durable and elegant. Truly an excellent product to have. ^.~
