Or when you think you don't have much to offer, and the recipient of your gift ends up loving what you thought was a dud!

Great fun when entertaining and could be a great teambuilding game as well!

I bought this game with coupons I got for Borders bookstore. It comes with a little box in which all the gifts are contained, scoring chips and six scoring boards where you place the gifts. You take six gifts for each round and give them to other players, the idea being to give each person a gift they will like. IMPORTANT: Look at the gifts and REMEMBER the ones you give out. You don't have to remember who you gave them to, just remember the gifts. Also, mix the gifts that you get and don't look until everyone has given the gifts out. Depending on how many are playing (3 to 6), you give out:

3 players - 3 gifts each to the other two (you don't keep any)
4 players - 2 gifts each to the other three
5 players - 1 gift each, discard two
6 players - 1 gift each, discard one

Everyone then places their gifts on their scoring pad in the order they like them from favorite to least favorite. The favorite gift will score the most (300 points) and the scoring goes down by 50 points for up to five other gifts. The lowest score if all six slots are used is 50 points.

After the gifts are handed out, players in turn announce their gifts in order from least favorite to favorite. Players should remember what gifts they gave out, so they can acknowledge them and get the appropriate score. Giving someone a gift they like will score higher points for you. Players are allowed to comment on the gifts as they announce them, but keep in mind it's just a game, so don't curse someone out if you get a gift you can't stand. Three rounds are played. The high scoring player after three rounds wins. One of the times I played this, there was a tie for first place, and it was a husband and wife, who agreed to call it a tie.

This game really helps you get to know your friends and family. We played with family, so we thought we would do great, but there were some surprises! This game changes each time, depending on who you play with, so it never gets boring. Great fun when entertaining and could be a great teambuilding game as well! We had a blast and continued to talk about it the next day. Great gift idea for ANYONE on your list!!!!

The concept of the game was a great idea; how much do you know about the people in which you are playing against. So far we have only played this as a family; me, my wife, 17 year old son and 15 year old daughter; loved it. This is a great game that will have you laughing at some of the gifts that you have received or that you have given to others; you'll find out what the others really like or enjoy based on how they rate your gift.

This game was lots of fun!! We had friends over to play and we did not want to stop. We kept reviewing talking about the different cards and how funny they were for days to come.

This is a great game to get conversation started and keep it going for a long time.

Very fun!

this was a perfect gift! Four teens in the family love it. It keeps all smiling, and even starts conversation on different goals and visions for the future. Will be great for friends gathering together at any age! Lots of laughs. Good choice!
