I found this book absolutely fascinating. The author expressed a lot feeling in her poetry making the reader WONDER what's next. By far one of the best poetry books I have read. I highly recommend this book to those who love with passion.

A WONDERful Read!,
This review is from: Wonder (Paperback)
Wonder is raw emotion put to words. Each person could easily find a poem that speaks to their experiences and feelings. Nicole Pollifrone has done a beautiful job with this first book! Let's hope it is not her last!

Wonder,

This book touches every range of emotion a person deals with when it comes to love and life. Despite this being a "lesbian" author, it speaks to all. The pain and sorrow, the love lost and found, everyone experiences these highs and lows. Somehow Nicole is able to put into words something most feel but cannot express. While I have never been a big fan of poetry, somehow this book doesn't read like most. Deep emotion is somehow expressed in few words, but with great depth. As someone in late middle-age, it is a refreshing change from the long-winded heavy prose I have previously experienced.

From the heart,

This book definitely captures a lot of the author's personal experiences, and I know that we can all relate to one or two of the poems. For that reason this book is very refreshing, and different than the "usual" and sometimes fake. I loved it!

What a book! Wonder reads as if the writer has several books under her belt. The poems are heart-felt and genuine. Nicole pours herself into each poem and it is evident that some of them are from personal experiences.
Thank you Nicole for this book. I have never been one to read poetry, but your book was not set down until I finished it. Thank you. Thank you. Curtis Kindle

Exceptional!,

This first time publication reads as if it were the author's fifth! It is as real and true as the lives we live every day. Nicole offers us a view into her soul in an attempt to help us help our own. Her poetry speaks of trials, tribulations, happiness, sadness and love that we have all felt, yet Nicole so eloquently captures these feelings in her words. I think that more well-known and oft-published authors of poetry should definitely give "Wonder" a perusal. Everyone will find at least one poem in that they can relate to. Even if we think no one else could ever understand the way we feel, Nicole Pollifrone reminds us that other people absolutely can, because they have been through it too. BRAVO!!!

Wonder is absolutely wonderful. Nicole Pollifrone is not afraid to open up and share her heart and soul with her readers. She is definitely a poet's poet. I can wait for more from this modern day troubador.

The raw emotion melts from the pages to fill the reader's soul and provide a mirror to see themselves. We all experience and can relate to the poetry written here. Nicole writes concisely but the words expand your thoughts as you read. The best poetry I've read in a very long time.
