A song long known by many parents with children of varying disabilities & abilities, this song is unparalled by any other. I say this because although there are many beautiful songs written that tells stories & such, this has been the only song that I felt has reached in & pulled out the emotions of myself & I feel as if I am being lifted up. While listening to this song I just get a feeling of perspective as "With love & patience, she's gonna make her way". There is not a song I know of with more heart & soul. I was recently able to tell Natalie the profound affect her song had & thanked her for it, & I believe EVERY time she sings it, she has that special child's story right there in her heart. And every time I hear it, I feel like she sat down & wrote the song just for me. Now how often can you say that? Again,

I have songs that remind me of my children. This one is the most uplifting and empowering songs for a daughter. I knew my daughter was gifted from the moment she was born and that she would make her way--this is a song about her. I love the part in the song that says "People see me -I'm a challenge to your balance-I'm over your heads how I confound you and astound you" God blessed her and she will make the world a more wonderful place to live b/c of her determination and compassion for human life. Great song!
