I love this stuff. I keep some around for when I want to add a bit more soil to the top of a pot, or for transplanting houseplants into bigger pots. It is wonder -- just add water and it expands to many times the size of the disk. It has water retention crystals in it too, I think, and keeps plants moist, but not soggy.
