Awesome and truly riveting book for curious 6 year olds. The illustrations are pretty and appropriate. A magical way to answer questions from your children, grandchildren, and YOURSELF!
I plan to buy the whole series.

Honestly, I love these books. I bought them on a 4 for 3 special, and couldn't be happier. I am not one to buy books full price either, but these are so perfect for my 5 and 7 year olds I was happy to do it. Our kids are always asking questions, 'why this' and 'why that' and this book series seems to feed their need for answers. The pictures are really sketches, but nicely done and not cartoonish. I actually enjoy reading these to them because I am learning things myself! I could not recommend these books more, a perfect gift for a curious child.

My kids really enjoy these books! Highly recommend ... great topics, colorful illustrations, and educational fun. It's great for one-on-one time or as a family. We really enjoyed them on our camping trips. The teachers enjoy them for the classroom - great gifts!

Fantastic introduction to science facts in small, easy to read segments. Beautiful pictures as well. Note: If you buy more than one title, note that they are now produced in two different sizes.
