This review is from: Wonder Woman Archives, Vol. 2 (DC Archive Editions) (Hardcover)
This second volume of the Wonder Woman archives keeps the amazonian rockin' along with more vintage comics from years past. I love the artwork and it's interesting to see just how much bondage there was in these early comics. Great production values make this a recommended book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real Woman Power--Hear It Roar in Color!, November 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Wonder Woman Archives, Vol. 2 (DC Archive Editions) (Hardcover)
Wonder Woman represented everthing that true, unearthly womanhood entails: inner-strength, courage, wisdom, and a touch of motherly compassion that men are not able to give. Her title as the 'Amazon Princess' is fitting to her because she serves justice and understands her responsibility, just as I sensed her responsibility to womanhood and love to the country she called her new home, away from Paradise Island. It's that spirit that, as indicated in Volume 2 of the Wonder Woman Archives, she passes on to girls who become women for the next generation. That is the true fire you sense in each color page of this hardcover collection: a fire of the true spirit of woman power.

And, speaking of passing the torch to another generation, I happen to have bought this book for my niece Amber for her sixteenth birthday, as a token of love and a way to share my love for DC Comics that I had when I was young and free-spirited in the 1970's.
