Pure magic,

This is a truly wonderful book. If you want to buy a book for a child in the age range 4-8, think seriously about this book. It is the story of creation with a religious bent, but not wandering too far from scientific accuracy, leaving the reader with an environmental message and a self-affirmation.

It is a beautiful book ideal for children between the ages of 5 (you read it to them) and 10 (they can read it themselves). It introduces children to God and His creation, with emphasis on the fact that He made us and all the creatures on the earth, and that is why we should look after the earth. Highly recommended. Pictures are also lovely to look at and talk about with children.

A good book illustrating God (or whatever your reference is) and his presence and creations in all living things. Wonderful illustrations by Nick Inkpen.

creationist nonsense,
This review is from: Wonderful Earth (Hardcover)
This is a nice looking book with superb illustrations. But its message is anti-science. Children need to be told about the amazing and awe-inspiring history of life on Earth as revealed through modern biology, chemistry and geology. I guess its OK as mythology, but please do make it clear
