One of the things that I love about Everclear is that they don't pull any punches with their lyrics.

While this is a sad song, I think that most people can relate to the feelings of loss that are associated with it, and it really points out how kids feel when their parents don't act like grown ups.

I couldn't recommend this song more highly.
