5.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff
This stuff resembles a 'super glue'. In other words, it a cyanoacrylate of some sort. I used it on a group of chairs that had failed to hold tight with nails and wood glue. This product worked without even a second application.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too little Glue to do one chair
It seems to work, but note that the vial is 0.17 ounce of glue and for me, it only did half the joints in one chair. While the price is low for one vial, you need 8 or more to do four chairs. Pretty expensive. I'll check in a couple days when it has hardened more to see how well it works. The competition, Chair Loc, is sold in a 3 ounce vial, enough to do a lot of chairs...

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what you need !!!, April 10, 2009

This review is from: Wonderlokking #W2081 20G Tite Chair Glue (Misc.)
I had four very old diningroom chairs that I was about to throw out because they were so ridiculously wobbly. They were so bad, I was afraid to sit on them (and the Salvation Army wouldn't even take them off my hands). I had decided to just throw a coat of paint on them and replace them later on when I eventually found a new set I liked. I searched at Home Depot for a product that I could inject into the joints to tighten them. All they had was some thick, messy epoxy, which I later returned because I knew it would be way too hard to use. A friend turned me on to this product and, let me tell you, IT WORKS!!! I was very skeptical, but within only minutes, my four sloppy chairs were ROCK SOLID. I will still paint them, but will do a nice job, and plan on keeping them around for years to come. THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS !!!!!

NOTE: It is similar to crazy glue, is very easy to use and dries almost immediately. Like crazy glue, once opened, it starts to slowly evaporate. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend buying this product in "used" condition. The purveyors at Amazon seem to have the best prices (for new product): $5.76 for 20g. I have searched it out, and many others want as much as $10.79 for the same amount of adhesive.

UPDATE: I finished my chairs. I repainted them and reupholstered the seats, and they look wonderful! I recently had a 2-week visit with family (who are very picky) and they were quite impressed with my "new" dining set. I wish I could show before and after pictures here--- you would be amazed. The chairs are as sturdy as if they were brand-new, and now they look brand-new.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked Miracles on my Loose Heywood Wakefield Chairs with no Mess, October 20, 2009

Great product. I think it's just super glue, but the key here is the applicator. It allows you to get in small cracks without getting the glue all over the place. Used this on my loose Heywood Wakefield chairs (notorious for getting loose joints) and it worked miracles. My only complaint it they should include more than 2 applicator ends because they can't be cleaned (this is super glue, remember?) and the only way to use each one more than once is to clip the end off. Eventually, the hole becomes too big. Still, served my purposes and I would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent product!, April 21, 2010

I am long-time "do it yourself-er" and have tried many glues over the years. This is the greatest glue I have ever used. I have used it on all my loose chair joints with fabulous results. I even used it on one antique chair that was in such bad shape that it didn't stand up on its own. Not only does it now stand up but my husband can sit in it, and he's no light weight! I recommended this to my brother and he thought I was exaggerating until he used it! The applicator allows the glue to be applied sparingly and with great precision. I've used it on things other than chair joints and be equally pleased with the results.

This really works as advertised, tightening up wobbly chairs and tables in just seconds. I almost wished I had more furniture on which to use it.

This is the best chair glue, I have ever used. I have tried so many different types of glue and had to re-glue chairs over and over again. One time is all I have ever had to do with this stuff. It seems to last for years.

Great Product!!!

Excellent product. Easy to use. Thin and "leaks" right into the chair leg joints. Only takes a minute to make your chair as good as new. Highly recommended.

I used this to tighten up 6 loose dining room chairs. I used two whole bottles for the six chairs. It worked well, the chairs are nice and tight but the glue will break loose if you lean back in them on the rear legs. But for chairs that will only be used a couple times a year they should be fine. Much better than completely disassembling each chair to reglue it.

This review is from: Wonderlokking #W2081 20G Tite Chair Glue (Misc.)
I purchased wonderlokking to repair 10 antique chairs that badly need re-gluing. My initial thoughts were to do it the old fashioned way and knock them apart and re-glue them, which is a real time-consuming process and sometimes results in other damage to the chair. I saw this product when I was researching re-gluing tips on the internet and decided to give it a try. The Wonderlokking bottle comes with a special tip that directs glue into the joint and the glue itself is very thin so it wicks in nicely. In the end, the repairs went very fast and the chairs are now rock-solid. Because of the number of chairs that I repaired and their poor condition,I purchased three bottles of wonderlokking and that was enough to complete the job. Well worth the price!!!!
