Excellent test and excellent buy,
By I used them for about 15-20 days of each cycle for nine months, never seeing an actual positive result. I admit, I did wonder whether they actually worked or not. But after three months of metformin (glucophage), my body regulated and ovulated, and these tests detected it. There was no question - I had a positive test. And two weeks later, a positive pregnancy test. I absolutely recommend these strips. I ovulated on day 25 - much later than you'd usually think ovulation would happen. Thanks to these tests, I knew. No, they don't come in frilly packaging. And yes, I was shocked at first at how it just came in a manila envelope, no instructions. But the tests are individually packaged and sterile. Paying for the frills just isn't worth it to me - I'd rather save that money to buy the baby something! Plus, I prefer the "pee in a cup and dip" method to the midstream tests - somehow I managed to complete nine months of never peeing on myself while peeing in a cup, but when I try one of those midstream things, it goes everywhere.[...]

This review is from: Wondfo One Step Ovulation (LH) Test Strips, 50-Count (Health and Beauty)
I know a lot of people say that these tests do not work and that the directions are vague, but they are really not that complicated, I don't know how you can't understand them. They are NOT like pregnancy tests in that even if you see a faint line, it's positive. My cycles have been off since stopping birthcontrol so I decided to use these each day of my cycle. For the whole month I had a faint test line and a dark control line. The day before the surge it was quite a bit darker than normal, but still not equal to or greater than the control line. The next day it was an OBVIOUS positive. The test line was much darker than the control line and showed up very quickly. Tried it again the next day and it was back to negative (which is what it is supposed to do.)There is a note that comes with the individually packaged strips that gives you a website to go to if you need more specific directions. The only advice that I can give is that it says you can test at any time of the day on the website, however to have the most accurate results, it needs to be after 10am. They are not like pregnancy strips where the highest concentration is in the morning. In fact you can get a negative result if you test too early in the morning. Also, since a LH surge can be very brief (less than 24 hrs) it's best to test twice a day. Once b/t 10am-2pm and once from 5pm-8pm. Love these!
