Product Description

If youre trying to conceive, our Ovulation Tests represents an excellent value on the highest quality ovulation test strip available. Theyre FDA-approved, highly sensitive (detecting a level of 25 miu/ml LH), and provide a high degree of accuracy in pinpointing your most fertile time of the month. Ovulation Test Strips work by allowing you to detect your monthly "LH Surge" - the dramatic increase in Luteinizing Hormone present in your urine just before you ovulate. Since the best time for fertilization of your egg to occur is within 6-24 hours after you ovulate, correctly gauging your body''s cycle is extremely helpful in increasing your chances of becoming pregnant.

These are wonderful tests and a financial God-send. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), which means I normally don't ovulate - hence becoming pregnant is difficult. Having the information from these strips was great for our "trying to conceive" journey, both for us and for our doctor. But also, having to use these for more than 9 months before we finally did conceive, the difference in cost between these and what is available in stores was wonderful. I knew we were in this for the long haul, and I'm so glad I found these strips before we actually began to try.

I used them for about 15-20 days of each cycle for nine months, never seeing an actual positive result. I admit, I did wonder whether they actually worked or not. But after three months of metformin (glucophage), my body regulated and ovulated, and these tests detected it. There was no question - I had a positive test. And two weeks later, a positive pregnancy test. I absolutely recommend these strips. I ovulated on day 25 - much later than you'd usually think ovulation would happen. Thanks to these tests, I knew.

No, they don't come in frilly packaging. And yes, I was shocked at first at how it just came in a manila envelope, no instructions. But the tests are individually packaged and sterile. Paying for the frills just isn't worth it to me - I'd rather save that money to buy the baby something! Plus, I prefer the "pee in a cup and dip" method to the midstream tests - somehow I managed to complete nine months of never peeing on myself while peeing in a cup, but when I try one of those midstream things, it goes everywhere.[...]

I ordered a pack of 50, because I needed to start testing early and CBE digi's price doesn't allow for constant testing. I got these for around $13. I have never used these tests before. So I was concerned they wouldn't work for me. I have had bad experiences with cheap tests in the past. They arrived before the estimated arrival date, which made me happy. I tested in the evening time on the day I received them. They were packaged securely and in a box.

I tested everyday there after up to 4 times a day. I really wanted to see progression, and I did. By the evening of CD12, I got a darker line. It had a thin strip that was really dark on the test line side. I then began to second guess if I should have even ordered them and thought to myself, "here goes the beginning of issues with this test." So I took another and got the same line, I swore it was positive, when others were saying no it's not. Well I broke out the digi! Low and Behold I got a smiley, which confirmed that the test was positive! So the dark strip on the side was an indication that I had caught the beginning of my surge. I tested several times, for the next couple of days and got darker lines, until the lines were darker than the control line. This test did not let me down. I've posted pictures in the picture section, to better help everyone see that when you see that thin strip of dark line, your test is positive.

The only thing I didn't like is, quite a few of them that were sent to me had nicks in them. They still performed, but the dye ran a little different and gave me a different color line than the ones without nicks. I don't know how many more of them (I have some left) have this issue, but I can only hope they don't. For the the price I paid I got my money's worth and I am very pleased with this product. I think those that want to save money and save digi's, should try these out. They are worth it! Now all I need is a BFP and I will be an even happier girl!

I started using these "stupid strips" about 6-8 months ago and could not get a positive result for anything! The test line would get darker during the month but still only about 1/2 the shade of the control line. I thought it was due to the strips not working. Come to find out, after consulting my doctor, I found out that I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), which means that I don't ovulate normally, only about once every 3-5 months. My doctor put me on Clomid to "trick" my body into ovulating and after adjusting the dosage the lab test showed I ovulated on the 2nd month but not pregnant. So I pulled the strips back out and figured, what the heck, what do I have to loose?! So I started testing again at home to try and find my exact ovulatioin date. There it was, on day 17 of the 3 month on Clomid, I got a positive result (a positive result was more than obvious. I think my line was darker than the control)!! So I read the directions (which were included in the pack and that I had printed off the companies web-site like it told me to do- [...] to have intercourse after 24 hours of testing positive but before 48 hours. So today, day 32 of my cycle, I took a test (actually 2 tests) and PREGNANT! Without these strips we may have missed our window of opportunity! I wish everyone the best and hope you get the same great results I did! I will NEVER call these strips "stupid" again and will be buying more in the future if we decide to have a second child. 100% recommended! If you don't get a positive result, you might want to consult your doctor to do lab work to make sure you're ovulating. Don't automatically assume the strips don't work because they do!

I've had these for a few months now and I've yet to get a positive....it always shows one solid line and one light (which according to the package, it's "negative") but I've yet to see it be a true positive! I've tried other, more expensive brands and they work. I guess you get what you pay for!
