I absolutely love this movie!!! My husband and I can watch this movie everyday and still continue to laugh as if it was our first time watching it. We can't wait for it to come out on DVD in January.
For anyone looking to laugh this is a must see.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievably stupid
All the hype that this film generated made me feel that I was going to be in for a funny and intelligent film. Instead I got a great headache. If you are the type of person who just had a lobotomy, well the film is for you. You will not have any problems with being overestimated with interesting dialogue or good acting. The plot is stupid and the actors didn't...

If you are the type of person who just had a lobotomy, well the film is for you. You will not have any problems with being overestimated with interesting dialogue or good acting. The plot is stupid and the actors didn't need the money that bad to do the movie. A dead tubeworm could have conceived and written and produce a better movie than this. Shame on you Jada!!

I *love* this movie. My best friend made me watch it, and that was almost 2 years ago - to this day we still laugh hysterically throughout the movie. Everyone I have ever recommended it to has loved it. The Chicken Ho ... the Car Alarm ... call me on 911... it is all great! One of my all time favorites. I love Woo's attitude.

Critics and Moviegoers have dogged this movie to death.. I can tell you that it isnt as bad as the critics and a lot of moviegoers say it is I am not saying that this is a great film not by a long shot .. But what it is a film that provides a few chuckles here and there .. The story line isnt that strong some of the characters arent very interesting .. but there is a little chemistry between Pickett and Davidson that makes picture alright .. Did some one say Scream 2 Oh my god ! that little part she had was the worst case of over acting i have ever seen (laughing)

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious! Hysterical!, June 21, 2006

After eight years of ignoring this movie - primarily due to the negative reviews it got - I finally got to see it the other night on TV. I laughed non-stop. It's a typical story of a blind date that seems doomed for failure but ends in romance. As saccharine as the end of the movie may be and as cynical and jaded I may well be, I'm not ashamed to say I had tears in my eyes as the end credits rolled. I thought it was great. Not all movies are made to answer some of life's most puzzling questions. Not all movies are supposed to be 'intelligent' or 'thought-provoking'. Not all movies are made to change the world. Some movies are made for us to be able to sit back for one and a half hours, forget all our troubles and just have a good scream. This is one of those movies and I'm getting the DVD. I can't wait to watch it again.

All my favourite comedy actors are here: Jada of course (looking as lovely as I've ever seen her), Dave Chapelle, Duane Martin, Paula Jai Parker, Aida Turturro, LL Cool J and Dartanyan Edmonds. Even Foxy Brown makes an appearance and it's not too bad either.

But most of all, there's Tommy Davidson. Ah, Tommy Davidson. Not everyone's cup of tea, apparently, but he always does it for me.

If this movie taught me one lesson it's to let reviews INFORM my decisions on what movies to see and buy, and not to let them influence them. This is definitely one for the collection!

I never would have seen this movie if it didn't air on direct tv 20 times a day. I kept seeing pieces of it and it was enough to keep my interest. What I found is Woo is actually a funny and entertaining movie. I think Jada is sassy and smart so there! Tommy Davidson is great in this movie too and yes there is some cinematic chemistry here, it keeps u interested in their relationship. It is lighthearted and fun entertainment with some kewl music too. I laughed, I cried, i taped it!

I never pay the so called "professional critics" any attention. If they tell me that I will not like a movie I go to see if they are correct. Woo was very entertaining. This is not the big blockbuster type of film it seems everyone expects. But it is funny. Everyone has experianced the "blind date" sydrone and this movie takes it to another level. Lynne with the wine and fried chicken was funny, Tommies 3 friends in the gay club was classic, and everything that could go wrong for Tommie goes wrong. Jada was very sexy, smart, and in control. Something a lot of men may not enjoy watching. And who could hate a movie with the great Billy Dee Williams making a cameo appearance? Many people hated this movie and I can not see why unless your expectations were to high to begin with. Just relax, watch it, laugh, reflect, and have a good evening. We all know Jada and Tommy can do much better in other roles. All actors can have an average film or too in their careers.

As dumb as this movie is, it is lighthearted and just plain fun to watch. Don't feel like overanalyzing, thinking too hard, trying to figure out what is what, you just want some good laughs - THIS IS YOUR MOVIE!
