This is a chronological collection of Eichenberg's work starting with his student days up through the sixties. Eichenberg selected the prints and writes single page (or less) descriptions of what he was thinking when he designed and executed the engravings. The book contains many full page prints, some of his rough sketches, and at the end a chapter about his tools and technique.If you are interested in the evolution of an artist, are curious about Eichenberg's technique, or just like looking at his illustrations, this book is for you. |
