Sabrina Darby has been reading romance novels since the age of seven and learned her best vocabulary (dulcet, diaphanous, and turgid) from them. She started writing romance the day after her wedding, when she woke up with the idea for a Regency. She resides in Southern California with her husband and son.
Although I love the story, I felt it too short.
When Lucian Dorlingsley first spies Bianca, he falls head over heels in love with her but quickly discovers that she’s not allowed suitors yet.
This was a fast read, at about 140 pages, but also because the writing style is very natural so the story and dialogue flow smoothly.
I enjoyed this book, and was happy to see the second in the series about the second sister. You will enjoy both books if you like regency.Published 5 months ago by Happy Reader
This story was okay but it was too short. I like a strong character in both the hero and heroine. This was a mediocre story and didn't hold my attention.Published 7 months ago by JANE FRAZIER
Boring. Didn't get thru one-third of the book before I threw up my hands and cried ENOUGH. Saved in my Never Read Again collection on Kindle.Published 7 months ago by Karen C McMillan

This was a slow but good read. The ending was not to my liking but I will need to read the next book. Hope that the next book is fast moving. Read morePublished 9 months ago by lizard
