In wood song by Gary Paulsen there where many interesting points. like Dog racing. To me that is a interesting point. I will tell every body about this book.

Gary Paulsen is a writer we all know that. But there's another side of his life you might not have known. In his book Wood Song you will learn all about that other side.
Wood Song is a memoir about his experience in the wilderness. This story is creepy, funny, sad and thrilling. In this book Paulsen is also a part of the Iditarod Dog Sled Race a world-renowned event in Alaska.
Paulsen also tells stories about where he lives and what happens around there for example the banty hen "Hawk" that Paulsen owns that attacks everyone. There is also a section of the book dedicated to mysteries of the woods that Paulsen has come across for example when Paulsen sees a green glowing mist is it a ghost or Paulsen's imagination.
This book like many of Paulsen's books has vivid writing while I was reading it I felt like I was there. Nobody describes the wilderness like Gary Paulsen.
Personally I loved this book I think anyone who likes Gary Paulsen's books will love his book Wood Song. I recommend this book for kids ages 10-14. If you like reading about the wilderness this is the book for you.
