Editorial Reviews

About the Author

The book includes a biography of each of the 63 poets.

Sharon Doubiago is the author of three book-length poems, Hard Country, South America Mi Hija (nominated twice for the National Book Award), and the Husband Arcane, The Arcane of O (Gorda Plate Press, 1996). Her collection of poems Psyche Drives the Coast won the Oregon Book Award in 1991.. Her two wonderful collections of short stories, The Book of Seeing With One's Own Eyes and El Nino, are both in their second printings. The poems included in this book are from a newer book, Body and Soul. She considers the entire west coast her home, with Mendocino as base.
