A must for anyone traveling in a RV. AAA does not have a book as comprehensive as Woodall's. Every campground in North America is in here. The only drawback is its size...large and heavy. Over a thousand pages can be unwielding, but great as a reference.

Highly informative but far from comprehensive. Does not include information on many National Forest and State Park campgrounds. Ratings do not necessarily correspond to "desireability" (which is in the eye of the beholder). Best advice -- use for general information, but check things out for yourself and don't be afraid to go on down the road to a park that may not even be listed.

Great resource for this first-time RVer. I was able to find campgrounds that took reservations for a 9-night trip during the high season in Michigan. Really made my trip planning job easier, and it will come with us on the trip just in case.

This book is a must have!!! We used it several times on our very first trip since purchasing the book!! We found the book very accurate and user friendly. We highly recommend this guide for all campers and RV'ers!!!

This is the first book we bought about anything related to camping and we brought it with us on our second trip. It was a life saver. We wanted to stop somewhere else on our way home and were able to find all the information we needed. The size of our space is important to us along with privacy and distance to local attractions. We found a lot of that information at each areas listing, along with a map of each state. Every camper needs a directory.

Great to use to plan camping trip-don't recommend buying though. Same info is on the internet and does not cost.

The directory is great. You can find all the campgrounds in the area by looking up the city name. It tells you all the facilities available at the campground. You can find the phone number, web site information...anything that you need in order to make reservations.

Excellent book, sometimes the woodalls ratings are quite my opinion but otherwise a great source.

although i don't do a lot of travelling, i find this handy volume a compleat source of all the information most essential to successful rv camping

I bought this as a gift and it looks like the phone pages. Waste of money for us but would probably be great if I was a truck driver instead of a mom looking for fun places to go camping with the family!
