Woodcock Shooting
Very good book. The reader gets a feel for the era that the book was written in. The language used in those days and the knowledge about woodcock is very entertaining. It reads like a poem

Nice for Collectors but not a great "how to" book
This book was written many years ago and is a nice addition to my collection but I wouldn't consider it to be a book that would quickly set you on the path of woodcock hunting success. When I read the reviews someone suggested it read like a poem and I didn't fully understand that, but it truly is written like a poem. It is almost as if it is fiction. I like books...
