This chair is designed to position how I wanted. I can lower the seat height for playing guitar and sitting cross legged on it and raise the seat height for long periods of work at my computer. I have a tendency to wrap my toes in and rest them on the wooden back support of the chair when sitting in kneeling position. I have sensitive knees and am not a light person and I do not have any problems with the positioning, or padding of the knee supports for long periods.
My office is in my bedroom and the ability to fold the chair down to flat and roll it under the bed for more floor space is quite nice.
The assembly is all wood with a couple of metal screws and seems sturdy so far.
The first drawback of this chair is the lack of padding on the seat. There is no escaping the heavy force pressing the buttocks onto chair when you are sitting in the correct position. With minimal padding and somewhat coarse fabric I find myself getting up ever so often just to let my skin breathe.
The second drawback is that the knee rest is not quite wide enough for when I start to relax and my knees open up.

All in all it was worth the money and combined with occasional exercise ball chair usage through out the day has gotten rid of all upper and middle back pain I was experiencing previously.

I bought one of these for work more than a year ago due to constant lower back pain. I can say I never have lower back pain anymore. The simple design make for eary assembly and durability. If you have knee problems, you can adjust the height of the chair to change the bend of your knee or how much of your weight rests on your knees. I do need to get up every so often to move around to prevent stiffness.

I ordered this item to aleviate poor posture at my workstation. The way in which the Ergonomic Kneeling Office Chair is constructed only allows for cetain height individuals to be comfortable using it. I am around 6' tall and my legs are just too long from hip to toe to use the chair. It's in my office still in brand new condition if you would like it back.

I've had this for a while now, and I alternate between it and a regular "office" chair. It works well, it's worn well and I definitely recommend it if you are looking for an ergo "kneeling" chair.

Chair arrived within promised time. At first, it was a bit tricky to assemble, but I figured it out and was put together within 15 minutes tops. Love the adjustable angle. Daughter loves that she can sit higher at the computer desk. You'd think that this put more pressure on your knees, but not so. You're not leaning with your knees. I find that I'm putting my weight more on my hips. Very comfortable once you get used to the leg support ;).
