Wooden Ergonomic Kneeling Posture Office Chair

I have owned this chair for about 3 months. The chair is pretty comfortable and I don't have any problems sitting on it for a long time on it. I have had several problems with the chair itself, however. No matter how tight I tighten the screws, they keep on coming out. More recently, one of the wheels broke. I'm pretty skinny so it wasn't a weight issue. It's still usable, but it's obvious to me the quality of this product is pretty low.

The design works great if you plan to sit for no more than an hour. After that my knees start hurting. The chair is of good quality construction and looks good. I have 2 chairs and alternate to alleviate back pain and it seems to be working.

You know the old saying, "you get what you pay for" ! well this was cheap and AWFUL. A waste of money. Not comfortable and the padding in the seat is so thin, knee area as well. PLEASE don't spend your money on this chair, check around and spend a few more bucks.

Being I am well, large, I am unable to sit in zazen in the standard
seiza method. Blood flow stops to my feet and after several hours of sitting (with kinhin in between) my legs and feet are dangerously numb. I eventually had to give up on sitting this way. A nun recommended me to this form of seat. Now I can sit in meditation for several hours with no issue! My posture is perfect and allows for open breathing which is important in meditation. This chair has helped me stop focusing on the pain and eventual nerve damage I was doing and allowed me to focus more on the breath and whatever else I am working on.

I purchased this chair from Amazon and have been very happy with it for over a year now. I took the wheels off and put fuzzy feet stickers on the bottom to keep from scratching the zendo floor.

If you sit for ANY length of time doing anything then this is the chair for you

This is the most uncomfortable chair ever. The padding is paper thin and you basically sit right on the wood. I had this chair only about 6 months and already have to buy a new one.
I had other kneeling chairs in the past which worked great and are the only chairs that help me keep my back straight while working on the computer but this one is awful. Don't buy it!

When I was pregnant with my first my office had a really old kneeling chair that I found and used. It immediately helped with my back pain and the chair allows you to sit in a way (knees below hips) that promotes optimal fetal positioning which can make labor easier and faster. Couches and traditional office chairs do not allow you to sit in this way.

When I got pregnant a second time I bought this chair since I now work at home. The price was good and while I'm not sure if I'll like it when I am not pregnant (my husband does not like it) it is exactly what I need now. I use a pillow below to give more cushioning for my calves. Now that I am getting bigger I am going to need to start hauling it downstairs to watch TV, and then back upstairs to work on the computer. It truly is the most comfortable way for me to sit.

I tried the isokinetics balance ball chair because of my sciatica issues. While that chair is useful, I find this one to be more comfortable. Balance ball chairs don't have any padding, which makes them unsuitable for me to sit on the entire day. I don't find the padding on this to be "paper thin" as another review said. It seems like a reasonable amount of padding to me. Very glad I bought this chair.

Chair is easy to put together and sturdy. Gives good ergonomic support. Have had chair for almost a year and have no complaints. Well-priced.

I have this chair for several weeks now. I feel that the design is good. It definitely helps to maintain a better posture. There are two things I will suggest for improvement. One, the cover material is not comfortable against the skin. Two, the padding could be firmer.

it's a good chair. i have no problems with it and it's durable. would follow the directions about not exceeding over 200 lbs. though. :o)
