Indispensable volume for collectors, archeologists, archivists and historians, May 8, 2008
This review is from: Wooden planes in 19th century America (Hardcover)
This is the first scholarly researched book on the history of American wooden planes published in the USA. Kenneth Roberts 25 years of research, text and archival illustrations for this book is just simply AMAZING.
Like all Mr. Roberts publications, this particular book had only a small limited print run and it is out of print since the mid 1980's.
(For words and terms that were unknown or new to me, I used an old copy of the 1993 UPDATED and REVISED American Edition of the
New Webster's dictionary and thesaurus of the English language at the very cheap price tag of ONLY 10 CENTS !)
