Brilliant!

This cookbook is just what I am looking for. I have been looking for a guide that hosts a wide variety of recipes and different flavors for a long time and this is it. Not only do I enjoy all the different styles and examples of cooking, but also each recipe comes with its origin. A small story on how this recipe came to be if you will. I think that is fantastic!

My favorite so far is the bagel recipe on page 233. Most notably the part about; "stir until your arm gets tired". This is what gives the Woodfield Cooks character, its a piece of their heritage and community. Ultimately this is a real recipe book created by real people and its really good!

Thank you

This is the most charming recipe book I've ever owned. The stories with each recipe make it very unique and personal. Having grown up in old north London this book will be a treat every time I look for a new or old recipe!
