If you buy this directly from acehardwareoutlet.com you'll save about $5.00. It's $13.99 with acehardwareoutlet.com and their shipping was less for me.

Understand that this is green, not black (I spray painted it). I also bent it out a little more.

I'm quite satisfied with this bird feeder bracket. It's very sturdily built and the finish appears to be well applied and quite durable. It mounted very sturdily to my composite deck railing.

This deck mount was perfect for the hummingbird feeder I just purchased. The mount is sturdy and works very well.

I bought this product to use on our front deck to hang hummingbird feeders on. We have very narrow railings. This bracket adjusts easily and fits securely. Plus, it looks great! My hummingbirds say "Thank You!!!".

Holds seed or suet feeders, plants, or whatever you want to hang from the deck or porch railing. The green finish is attractive and tough. For the hook end section, the 2 units I received have a slightly different configuration than the pictured bracket. Mine curl under, which I like better than the convoluted hook in the illustrated version.

UPDATE: the Amazon photograph of this deck bracket now looks like the ones I received. As of January 2010 mine are still going strong, look great, no rusting, very happy with them.

Great bracket mount and places your birdfeeder or plant off the deck. Just be sure to check your deck railings to be sure there is room to place the bracket. You will need a couple of inches clear of underneath structure.

I bought this to hang something "off" my rail, but my rail design won't work with it. This bracket extends across the rail to hang an item off the opposite side of the rail from which it mounts. To hang outside the deck, it has to mount to the inside of the rail. Unforunately, the "inside" side of my rail is too wide to accomodate the mount. So for my application it won't work.

It is sturdy, well made and long enough to hang the small items I had planned on displaying. So I have to give the product a good review. I just didn't pick up on it being a "one-sided" mount for my deck.

Easy to install. Also easy to remove bird feeder for refilling. Attracts lots of birds. Very pleasd with this item. Planning to buy another one!
