This is a three pack. The three receivers-wall plugs can have the frequency changed as well as the remote frequency. So you can actually set the remote and receivers to all turn on at the same time, or one by one with setting each receiver to a different frequency matching the three remote buttons. And since the remote has many frequency settings, you can buy and add many more three packs of switches and control them either all-on, all-off, or set to on-off one at a time. I figured you can actually have up to 15 switches (maybe it was 16), all with different frequency settings.
The transmitter range is on the poor side. You may need to stand within 5-8 feet of the switch for it to respond. But that is still much easier than plugging in-out an a/c wall plug. Easier especially when the plug is located behind furniture, or behind drapes.
The plus feature of these sets of WOODS remote plugs is the ability to chose between many transmitting-receiving frequencies. Where as with most other remote multi-pack systems, the frequency is fixed. And limited to one set of three plugs.
The Woods brand is the way to go!

I purchased four of these for gifts but kept one for myself. I've just now, come back online to order more for ME. This is the best invention EVER. I've used it from hard-to-reach fans, to light fixtures that were all but impossible to reach during the night. I LOVE THIS ITEM!!!!!

Overall, this is pretty good and the range is decent. However sometimes you have to press the switch a few times for it to turn on the light. And it doesn't matter how close you are; it just takes a few presses to work. Still, it has a lot of positives since you can control three separate outlets with one remote. If they could make it a bit more consistent, this would be a great product.

Cheap Junk

Woods 13569 with 3 remote outlets
