I got this because my roommate does not seem to understand the concept of turning lights out when you leave the room. The cheaply-made plastic knob broke within a few days. Also, the countdown timer sticks and does not shut off when it gets to the end, thereby making it useless. I might as well have tossed the money into a fire and saved myself the waste of time. I have since just removed the switch altogether...
