5.0 out of 5 stars : ) reviews for Woodstock 2 !!!!!!!
I have been waiting a long time to see this one and it was so worth the wait!!!! I have had the cd & only could imagine the actual concert, last night I sat back and enjoyed seeing come-backs by Joe Cocker, John Sebastian, and the very great Crosby,Stills & Nash. This concert is full of great 90's nostalgia!!!! The bands range From "Cranberries to Green day to Metallica...

2.0 out of 5 stars Some of this movie was good.
This movie had a lot of junk music. And the way the people swore at the croud and the nudity. This is not one for kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars : ) reviews for Woodstock 2 !!!!!!!, March 22, 2005
This review is from: Woodstock 94 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I have been waiting a long time to see this one and it was so worth the wait!!!! I have had the cd & only could imagine the actual concert, last night I sat back and enjoyed seeing come-backs by Joe Cocker, John Sebastian, and the very great Crosby,Stills & Nash. This concert is full of great 90's nostalgia!!!! The bands range From "Cranberries to Green day to Metallica. Sheryl Crow is fantastic !!!! Bob Dylan performs "highway 61" If you love the music of the "90s and are into the woodstock generation this is a must have. This vhs also contains footage of the audience and surrounding activities of the concert. My favorite part is the personal reflections of each artist as they enter the stage. colesmom (seller) definitely hooked me up with a great video!!!! thanx!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars This video is good, but too many softies..., May 12, 2000
This review is from: Woodstock 94 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is a pretty good video, but it has too many softies. The best bands there were Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Blues Traveler, Candlebox, and many more. The ones we could have done without were Sheryl Crow (she's good, but she played a boring song), Salt N' Pepa, and a few others... Other than that, this is pretty good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great sound,woeful video, December 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Woodstock 94 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Fantastic lineup of talent, however I was very disapointed with the video quality
as I have a version of this concert taped from TV which is vastly superior.
This video also omits 2 of the better performances in "Del Amitri" & "Zuchero".
The sound recording is great & my recomendation would be the 2 CD set until this
concert is released (in full hopefully) on DVD (if that ever happens !).

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay as a documentary, I prefer Woodstock 99 instead, November 29, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Woodstock 94 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Compared to the "Woodstock 99" and the original "Woodstock" (1969) tapes, this "Woodstock 94" tape was "less": less exciting, less fun, less memorable. I was curious about the '94 event after seeing the '69 and '99 Woodstock tapes, and it did satisfy that need. And from seeing the movie, the live event in 1994 probably was a good time. But as a movie, for entertainment value this tape comes up a little short compared with the other Woodstock tapes. Is it because "Woodstock 94" was produced by PolyGram Records, and "Woodstock 99" was produced by Sony Music? Maybe. Or was Woodstock 99 just more fun? And was the original Woodstock (1969) just better and more memorable (a classic)? This "Woodstock 94" tape is unlikely to become a classic...it is just a documentary. A documentary that will fade from memory.
