Woodstock Chimes Encore Water Bell Fountain

I had this fountain for approximately 4 years, and it worked well that entire time. The motor never burnt out, and it never had any major operational problems. A few things to know:

1. The bells rust. They will not be that nice brass color for long.
2. The plastic bowl is even more plastic in person. It's a soft plastic, seeming cheap if you touch it or get too close. It will deform as you pick it up.
3. The bells are loud. Personally, I had to muffle the bell sounds with cork.
4. There will probably only be one or two of the internal bells that will actually get struck. By the nature of water flows, expect to hear the same bell over and over.
5. The fountain needs to be cleaned regularly. While this might seem self-evident, gunk builds up quickly.
6. Floating bells flip, get stuck, and otherwise need to be watched after every now and then.

Overall, while I was slightly underwhelmed with certain details of implementation, I didn't regret my purchase either. It worked without complaint 24/7, for many years. It did a better job of hydrating the air than some other fountains or hydrators. But it is big and bulky, and isn't quite as nice as you would think.

I'm sorry but I would not recommend this product... It looked like a great deal in the picture but when it arrives, the black plastic bowl is very cheap looking as is the fountain spout and contraption that holds the bells. I tried to cover up the bare plastic bottom with some some glass pebbles but the motor of the pump was not strong enough to push the water over a textured surface so I had to remove them. Well, in the end, even with regular cleaning (every 4-6 weeks) the motor was not strong enough to last and burnt out. Next time I will shop around more for a better product- Z Gallerie has some nice fountains for $50 too and they have a ceramic bowl!

The nice thing is that for the time while it lasted, the chiming bells were very melodius. Too bad it wasn't long lived...

I had seen the water bells in an office and liked them.
I did a google search and found Amazon sold a product. I looked it up and it looked like what I had seen and ordered them. It looks and sounds like the first ones I had seen and I have enjoyed them at home.

If serenity is what you are looking for in a product this one is for you.I have a bird sanctuary in my yard of gorgeous mosaic benches and baths and i placed this bell fountain in a fenced in lower level garden of cone flowers and specialty lillys and big beautiful peonies,breath taking come summer.Magnificent product,and great service on delivery.I will let you know after the summer how it performs and holds up in the elements.

I've had a chime bell fountain for years, and I love it. It is very relaxing and is a wonderful accent piece in my home. My guests just love the sound of the chimes. Many of them have purchased a fountain for their homes. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this for my spouse as we have all types of regular wind chimes and thought something different would be fun. One reviewer mentioned the heavy smell which is indeed present especially when the box was first opened...I noticed it a LOT but better half didn't seem to at all. However, it wore off over time especially after using white vinegar (to reduce the build-up).

We have this in the living room and receive a lot of compliments...it's always funny because it typically takes awhile before people realize they are relaxing to the sound of these small bells. After 20 minutes or so it begins to dawn on them and they start looking around...without exception, everyone wants to know where to buy them.

A very nice addition. Simple, non obtrusive. Soothing.

Hi, I really liked this product when I got it. I used it all of 3 months outside on a covered porch this summer. The bells got tarnished and ugly very quickly. The bells also developed a green crust on them and would not chime very well after that. Just seems like the product idea is good but need a better metal that can take being wet for any length of time and stay looking pretty.

In general, I really enjoy the fountain and the ring of the bells, but the plastic container has a really unpleasant smell of pungent plastic! I not able to sit close to it!!

I enjoy the sound it provides however I can't seem to mask the strong plastic smell. I have had it for about a month and it is still strong.

I purchased this water fountain for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. It's peaceful and relaxing. The bells stick once and awhile usually when the water level is low. The price has gone up since last year. I plan to get one for myself before the price goes up again.
