5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Sound, Not at All Annoying
I mainly use windchimes as a feng shui cure, but have always had problems with the clanging sounds keeping me awake at night and distracting/annoying me during the day. Woodstock's Gregorian Soprano Chimes are the most pleasant and soft-sounding chimes I have ever heard, and are of a tone consistent with the soothing sounds of nature. 3.0 out of 5 stars Made in China, not USA
The wind chime looks and sounds fine. However, I chose this wind chime brand because it was advertised as "handcrafted in the USA" from "non-endangered North American hardwoods." However, the box clearly states "Made in China." I was very disappointed with this misrepresentation in the Amazon listing.

They do not disturb at all, and I have to actually listen for them to realize that are singing because they are so gentle sounding. I have several outside my home and one in an interior hallway. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ear Delicious, August 13, 2005

This wind chime produces the clearest, most pure tones I have ever heard from a wind chime. I bought mine about 10 years ago and hung it on my patio. Since then, I have purchased it many times as gifts for family and friends who've heard mine and admired it. If exceptional sound quality is what you are looking for in a windchime, you will love this one! I highly reccommend it.

This has 8 tubes/chimes, rather than the usual 6, and you can tell the difference! In addition, I got the Gregorian Alto Chime (at another site), which also has 8 chimes. When the two windchimes play together . . . Heaven!

5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful sound, April 25, 2007
This review is from: Woodstock Chimes Gregorian Soprano Windchime (Lawn & Patio)
The only drawback to these chimes is that they sound so beautiful when they are swaying in the wind that you will have an unavoidable urge to buy the alto tenor and baritone as well. Well, the other possible drawback is that your other chimes will sound like noise. The soprano has a beautiful almost magical note and the tuning is amazing. They are well made and although I can't yet tell you how they wear, the feel of the chimes itself is like handling a musical instrument.

This set is lovely and well made, however I wish there had been a picture that had given me an idea of the scale as I would have bought a larger set.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soothing Sounds, November 27, 2009

This is my second purchase of this makers wind chimes.

I already own the Soprano.

Honestly, I prefer the higher notes.... they tend to blend in with natures sounds a little better. The alto and soprano together do create music together. I like this, and it is why I bought the second chime.

The chimes are beautifully packaged and look very nice. They would make a nice gift for someone!

Woodstock Percussion GSS Gregorian Soprano Chime, Silver

This wind chime is small, but has a beautiful, soothing sound. I love it and will probably order another. There is nothing irritating about it like some of the larger chimes.

I was amazed at the rich tones from a smaller product. The sound is great. Very pleasing. Rec'd too late to hang this year, but definitely will next summer. Thanks for a beautiful product.
