The Chime is so gentle and distinctive that it has actually charmed people up from the front drive to see what they were hearing----the sound is soft and soothing and can be experienced inside much of the house without being too sharp or harsh---I have ordered 4 more for house warming gifts.

The Tudor Rose Chimes from Woodstock Percussion are a great addition to any outdoor decor. As soon as you unpack them from the box, you'll be impressed with their appearance - the wood is a beautifully natural cherry and the chimes themselves are a deep reddish bronze. Each piece of the set feels very sturdy as well.

But it doesn't really show off until you hear it. The sound is astounding full, especially given its compact size. The eight different tones come together to make a peaceful stream of sound rather than the dissonant clang-clang-clang of lesser chimes. I had read about the meticulous tuning process in the product description but figured that a chime was a chime - these proved me wrong within a few minutes of hanging them.

I initially purchased these as a gift, but have since gotten a set for my own home. The Woodstock website has recommendations on combining different chimes for maximum harmony - at Amazon's low prices, I'm sure to purchase more sets soon.

These chimes are spectacular, the sound is clear and precise, and they are simply a joy to hear! Don't hesitate to buy Woodstock Chimes, they are truly wonderful.

The Woodstock Tudor Rose chimes, Princess, is so wonderfully relaxing. I just received them a few days ago ... they are now hanging on one of our trees. They are adding so much magic to my garden. It's as if my colorful visual garden has now found its voice! My husband has even commented on the peacefulness and tranquility of the "new" garden, (with our wonderful chimes). We love them!

I love all my Woodstock chimes--they are beautifully made and a pleasure to own. I was simply blown away by the sound of this set, however--the Tudor Rose is wonderful.

I love the sounds that come when the wind blows. I have it placed in my front porch and the sounds get transported all over my neighborhood. love it!

No question that the chimes sound wonderful. I was pleased by both of the ones we got when we purchased our new home. But beware - the strings are NOT adequate and break easily - we lost one to a string snapping. The workmanship is poor and the strings became unattached from the staples in another. Note that while the tuning is guaranteed, the shoddy materials and workmanship are not. Very expensive given the products broke within a few months.

We've been thoroughly enjoying the Tudor Rose windchime for the last two weeks. I'm VERY pleased with my choice! I always thought a windchime was a windchime. Boy, was I ever wrong!! Not only does the Tudor Rose look nice, the sound is beautiful! The lake that's behind our home, always has a nice breeze coming off of it; so we're lucky that we can hear the soothing sounds of the chimes almost constantly. I'm going to slowly replace our other windchimes with all WOODSTOCK windchimes!

I love windchimes. Over the years, I have purchased many windchimes, but they were truly disappointing. Some may have been very pretty, but you could hardly hear them. Determined not to let this happen again, I did alot of research online, and was convinced that Woodstock was the best brand. I picked the Tudor Rose Chimes, and I am sure glad that I did. It has a beautiful sound and can certainly be heard inside and outside the house. It just goes to show you that to get exactly what you want you may have to spend a little more. It sure was worth it!

i am always skeptical about getting chimes from online cos of the obvious ...you have not heard it...however it is exactly way everyone says...good quality stuff and beautiful to hear...loved the product and would recommend it...
