This chime creates the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard from a wind chime. This Woodstock Celtic Chime truely does produce the tones of celtic music. It is so relaxing and comforting that I am spending way to much time on the screened porch enjoying the soothing sounds. This chime is a fine quality piece, excellent materials used and though I've had only a short time, I can tell it will last a long time! So do yourself a favor and order some relaxation and comfort, you won't be disappointed!

Lovely, melodic, ethereal sound--very peaceful and serene. It hangs near the small Woodstock Passport Celtic cross chime, and they complement each other beautifully. Visually attractive as well.

A lovely sound when the wind blows only problem, the summer wasn't windy. So I had to help move the chime along to sound.
Since I leave in a cold area, I'll be taking it down soon since with the window closed it will be impossible to hear and no need for it to weather over the winter. Already look forward to spring so that I may hear the chime ring again.

The sound is a gentle one, one that nourishes the soul and the ear. Love to work out in the garden and hear the chimes in the breeze!

I am thrilled. I looked at the site of the company that makes this chime. I was able to listen to their whole line of sounds. I then selected to buy this one at Amazon because it was cheaper. It arrived right away so I could enjoy the sounds. It really does have an irish/celtic tone to it. I am planning on buying several to give as Christmas presents. I will also buy myself another one in a different sound. Great quality. I never realized that chimes were made to sound like specific songs. Wonderful

I had originally bought a cheap windchime on eBay thinking all windchimes were alike. Not so! It sounded clanky and tuneless, and annoyed me so much I took it down after only a day.

I found this chime after much research (amazingly hard to find sites that provide sound samples. Who wants to spend this much on a chime without hearing it first?) I had never heard a chime that used minor chords before. Absolutely entrancing. It's also pretty loud, and I live in a condo complex -- as much as I love it, I wrap a rubber band around it to silence it at night for my neighbors. But on a mild summer day with a gentle breeze, it's so peaceful and relaxing. Hopefully some day I'll have a huge private yard so I can listen to it all the time.

I wanted a chime to hang on a rose trellis and ordered this based on the reviews. It's beautiful- well-made, substantial and with a lovely sound. This would make a nice gift for anyone's garden or patio.

Gorgeous little chimes with clear tones. Haunting. I got these for my mom and want a set for myself, although in lower tones.

I searched a long time before finally resting on the Woodstock Celtic Chime. A perk from Amazon's web site is the ability to listen to the chime before it arrives at your door so that you know what you're buying.

It has a mid range tone, not too deep, but not ear piercingly high, either. The music it creates is wonderful and relaxing.

My live in boyfriend protested the very thought of putting a wind chime outside our living room window, but when he realized that when the windows are open and he easily drifts off to sleep it's not the noise from the television causing this! He loves the chime, now, as well, because it causes him to relax and drift off.

It's exactly what I was looking for and isn't annoying in the least bit. The slightest gust of wind sets it off giving you hours of listening pleasure.

The Celtic chimes produce a truly lovely form of wind "music", with beautiful tones. The chimes seem to be very well built, too. They're a good size for an average patio. I would definitely recommend this one.

A friend of mine told me to check out Woodstock Chimes several years ago when I was looking to purchase one for my brother-in-law when his father passed. She told me the sound is amazing! My brother-in-law's father passed away and my first Woodstock Chime was bought from Amazon.com and sent directly to him. I'd much rather send a chime than flowers. The chime is my way of showing remembrance and respect. Recently, my son married a wonderful girl. Her mother and I have become great friends. This was her first child to marry and I wanted to give her a gift to show our two children have given us both great joy. I sent her a chime! She loved it! And so there will be music.... with Woodstock chimes!
