Woodstock Percussion Folk Guitar This is the second guitar I have bought from this company. The first one was over a year ago for a 5 yr.old grandson. He plays it in church. It has held up very well.My 3 yr.old grandson took an interest in playing so I bought another one.Now both boys play in church.I am very pleased with everything about it.The price was less than most.this is an excellant value. It comes with a carrying case, pick and book. The size is perfect. To my grandsons, this is a real guitar.

I was surprised at how well-made this toy is. I had the same problem with not being able to tune it properly and for very little dough, I took it to my local music store and had them replace the strings (can't remember exactly which ones were misapplied). My three-year-old loves this guitar. It is much more like a real guitar than not and I'm pretty impressed with the sound quality and durability considering that it is made to be an instrument and not really a toy. I don't tune it all that often because she's just playing by herself and my goal was more to get her used to taking care of an instrument and enjoying what it is like to make her own music (as opposed to the pre-recorded junk that comes out of most guitars). She received this guitar as a gift, but I would've gladly paid for it myself and will probably do so in the future when I buy this for other children in my life. Now if only they would make "toy" violins...

He's not even 2 yet, but my grandson loves guitar. I feel much better about getting him this guitar than a toy one. He won't get the educational part, or music lessons part, at his age. But he's having a great time with it.
