Great Snapshot of the 1960's,

Picked this up many years ago...at the time for Dylan's photos (Nahville Skyline) and original shots for The Band at Big Pink (the great LP and it's rootsy homespun Americana texture)and leafing through this well made book (paperback,thick pages,printed in Italy)and leafing through it again this morning it was impressive as a photo chronicle of sorts stretching from the pro abortion,anti war,Woodstock,left wing activists(Laureen Bacall, Bernstein,Daryl Zanuck etc.)with great shots of Janis, The Doors,Hendrix,John Lee Hooker,Ornette Coleman,McCartney,Lennon,Clapton,Melanie and others.
Landy's photographs are really good and this is a very good place to see how "public" people appeared in those acid drenched days.
